OUR HISTORY
OMBU is a family business and it was founded in December 1990, in a building located in the heart of the city of Las Parejas. It begins its production by manufacturing tillage and fertilization equipment, and then in the short term, incorporates other products into its production line. Since 1993, the company began to position itself very strongly in the national market, with the product emblem of the brand: self-unloading grain carts.
That meant an important growth producing the enlargement of the working spaces, taking possession of new plants in the Industrial Area of Las Parejas' city. In the middle of year 2000 the company moved their administrative offices, technical department and part of their productive machinery to the plant located beside the N° 178 National Road. New technologies and a trained staff were quickly incorporated to add more products, also a plus on design and quality. That was reflected on the continuous releases of different new products, for example: corn headers, grain baggers and extractors, etc. In addition, the Brand started to earn terrain on the export markets doing their first exports to France and neighbour countries. In 2.005, the company reached the certifications IRAM – ISO 9001:2000 Norms on Quality Management System. On the last years, the company released new important products to the market like a self-propelled sprayers and fertilizers, consolidating even more the commitment of supply their customers with reliable products to increase their productivity.

Month later and already established in a manufacturing plant begins the production of several models of trailers for different types of load transport, for example: grains, bulk load, pallets, animal transport and container transport.

On February 2nd, 1.996, started the design process and planning of the First OMBU trailer, lately manufactured and delivered to the customer on May of the same year. Month later and already established in a manufacturing plant begins the production of several models of trailers for different types of load transport, for example: grains, bulk load, pallets, animal transport and container transport.
Early the company started to take part into the competitive market of the local trailers manufacturers, further accentuating the weight of the brand OMBU there. On year 2.000 the company moved to the plant located beside the N° 178 National Road improving their production times and processes. The innovations did never stop that’s why on April 2.004 and due to the capacity of their team and the technologies implemented reach the goal of certificates IRAM – ISO 9001:2000 Norms on Quality Management System. That event locates the brand on the firsts positions on the local trailers manufacturers ranking, increasing their sales but also the commitment of “been there, always beside the customer”.
With that premise on 2.006 started the Post Sale Service Division to attend and answer the requirements of users and customers. During the last years, the company started to participate in a new market with the production of garbage compactors for urban residues.
Today REMOLQUES OMBU SA is one of the leading companies on the market, overcoming 10.000 manufactured units. The main aim is to bring the customers long lasting products, staying beside them transforming their appreciations into product improvements, permitting a most efficient transport.

ROOT'S VALUES. Our commitment with Childhood.
Year by year our team interact during with the kindergartens and the primary schools of the city to realize the campaign Root’s Values. The main concept of this campaign is to strengthen the good values on Childhood which is called by the company as the “society seed”. By means of a printed edition of playful activities the company get close to the kids with the intention of develop different thematic like partnership, neighbour respect, care of environmental and responsible use of the natural resources. Every year the company renews the commitment with childhood.
